Fun time at Hiltop Casita

It is now during Golden Week, holiday-studded week.

I had a great time with my awesome friends at a beautiful restaurant where the hospitality was superb!

The restaurant presented us this cafelate.

Since we were there so long, I guess this was their way to let us leave...  But they never showed that attitude and were very polite until we left.

But we were asked to move to another seats because they had to prepare for another guests.

Beautiful cherry blossoms

Hello everyone,

While I wasn't updating my blog, winter left and spring came. I started traveling around with cherry blossoms. 

I am very fine but very busy about my family and business. My mother isn't getting better but isn't becoming worse right now. I started translating jobs besides tour jobs. No time to paint and make pottery now.

I try to make time to come back here. And I'll reply mails when I have time.

Still damages....

 

Supermarkets and convenient stores in my neighnbour didn't have much food yet. I'll go there early in the morning tomorrow. Since we may have another snow the day after tomorrow, I need food stock for my family.

Compared to other areas, I'm much luckier.

Kofu city in Yamanashi prefecture had the most severe damages and people there are still suffering.

Some areas are isolated. 

Some have blackout.

Some highways have been closed since the 14th. Drivers have to stay in a car or they could evacuate in a shelter

Volunteer groups deliver food to drivers. 

A bread delivery truck which was also stucked gave away all the bread.

 

This bread company "Yamazaki" have its own delivery trucks and drivers can give away food in emergency situation by their own decision, which is the company policy. 

Abnormal weather condition all over the world.
